Power adapters supplying electricity to tablet and mobile phone products require TISI certification for export to Thailand, with the corresponding standard being TIS 62368 Part 1-2563.

 
How to Apply?

TISI certification requires sending samples directly to a Thai laboratory for testing. If you possess a CB certificate or corresponding product reports, these can be provided for testing reference. For TISI certification needs, contact GTG. GTG has established strong partnerships with local Thai laboratories. GTG's laboratory offers pre-testing services to mitigate the risk of samples failing upon arrival in Thailand. Additionally, GTG assists clients with factory audits.

Important Notes

Please note the following key points:

1. The TISI certification holder must be a Thai local company. If you lack a local importer, GTG can provide this service. Note: One prerequisite for certificate validity is that the holder's business license remains active.

2. The TISI product certification label must display a specific date within three months of sample submission. The TISI logo and QR code can only appear on the label after certification is completed.

3. TISI certification requires factory audits, conducted every three years.

4. Power adapter plugs must comply with Thai plug specifications.

5. The TISI certification report only lists the tested model.

Do different product models require separate certification?

For TISI certification, the power adapter certificate must explicitly state the specific model(s). A single certificate can list up to 15 models. If multiple certificates are applied for simultaneously and separate certification is required, applications must be submitted sequentially—that is, the next certificate application is submitted only after the previous one is issued.
