1. Introduction to Certification
Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) is the Canadian government department responsible for monitoring and enforcing energy efficiency regulations, requiring minimum energy performance levels for various energy-consuming products, labeling energy-consuming products, and collecting energy use data. All regulated products imported into Canada for sale or lease, or transshipped from the province of manufacture to another region (interprovincial transportation) shall meet the requirements of the energy efficiency standards set out in the Energy Efficiency Regulations.

4. Required information
1. Product name: provide the full name of the product.
2. Product model: list all product models, varieties or classification numbers that need to be tested in detail.
3. The intended use of the product: such as home, office, factory, coal mine, ship, etc.
4. Parts list: list the parts and models (classification numbers), ratings, and name of the manufacturer that make up the product in detail. For insulating materials, please provide the name of the raw material.
5. Electrical performance: For electronic and electrical products, provide schematic diagrams (circuit diagrams) and electrical performance tables.
6. Structural diagram: For most products, the structural diagram or exploded diagram of the product, ingredient list, etc. are required.
7. Photos of the product, instructions for use, safety precautions or installation instructions, etc.

NRCan certification routine is 2-3 weeks
