1. Introduction to Certification
CEC certification is an Appliance Efficiency Regulation (Appliance Efficiency Regulation) implemented by the California Energy Commission on December 30, 2005. The purpose of implementing this regulation is to improve the efficiency of electrical products, save energy, reduce gas emissions and the greenhouse effect. This regulation stipulates that when electrical products are sold in California, USA, they must first meet the equipment energy efficiency regulations. This regulation stipulates energy efficiency index requirements, measurement methods and phased implementation plans for 58 types of electrical products. According to the requirements of this regulation, electrical products must be tested by a qualified laboratory in accordance with the corresponding regulations or standards in the United States, and they can only be sold in California, USA after they are certified to meet the requirements.
