1. Introduction to Certification
Wi-Fi Alliance (full name: International Wi-Fi Alliance Organization), English: Wi-Fi Alliance, WFA for short), is a business alliance that owns the trademark of Wi-Fi. Responsible for Wi-Fi certification and trademark authorization.
The Wi-Fi certificate is issued by the Wi-Fi Alliance. Wi-Fi (abbreviation for Wireless Fidelity) is the standard for interoperability of wireless local area networks. Manufacturers' products must fully meet the Wi-Fi standard and pass the Wi-Fi certification. Only then can the Wi-Fi label be placed on its products.
Only companies that become members of the Wi-Fi Alliance can conduct product certification tests and use the Wi-Fi CERTIFIED logo and related trademarks.
