In order to strengthen the management of the import and production of radio transmission equipment, all radio transmission equipment exported to the People's Republic of China, or produced (including trial production) within the territory of the People's Republic of China, except for micro-power short-distance radio transmission equipment, shall be It is necessary to hold the "Radio Transmission Equipment Model Approval Certificate" issued after the national radio management agency has approved the type of its emission characteristics, and the model approval code (CMIIT ID) must be marked on the label of the factory equipment before it can be marketed. In layman's terms, only radio transmission equipment with the type approval code of my country's radio transmission equipment can be sold and used in my country.

In addition to the following two types of equipment, radio transmission equipment in the 2400MHz, 5100MHz and 5800MHz frequency bands needs to apply for SRRC certification, and apply to the national radio management agency for radio transmission equipment type approval.

(2) General-purpose micro-power short-distance equipment in compliance with Class F and Class G in Announcement No. 52 of 2019.

4. Certification Requirements

At present, China has established special frequency ranges for different types of radio transmission equipment, and not all frequencies can be legally used in China. In other words, all radio transmitting equipment sold or used in its territory will specify different frequencies. In addition, applicants need to pay attention to the scope of certain radio transmission equipment. Not only do they need to apply for "Radio Type Approval Certification", they also need to apply for China Compulsory Certification (CCC) or Network Access License (CTA) approval. No special mark, just a set of type approval code (CMIITID).

Depending on the launch frequency of the product, the content of the test is also different. The main test items are:

Power, spectral range, frequency tolerance, bandwidth, spurious emissions, etc.

7. Required information

(1) "Application Form for Type Approval of Radio Transmission Equipment" (see Annex 1);
(2) Letter of Commitment for Type Approval of Radio Transmission Equipment (see Annex 2);
(3) A copy of the applicant's business license or public institution legal person certificate (with the applicant's signature and seal), and overseas applicants provide legal organization certification materials (with the applicant's signature and seal);
(4) The specific handler shall submit the power of attorney signed by the applicant and the valid identity certificate of the handler, and the handler in the application form shall be consistent with the entrusted handler;
(5) Production capacity, technical strength, quality management system and other materials related to the production of radio transmission equipment. Domestic applicants who have obtained the quality management system certificate can fill in the certificate number in the application form; in other cases and those who have not yet obtained the quality management system certificate, submit the details of the technical ability, production capacity and quality assurance system with the official seal of the applicant's legal person introduce. The production capacity certificate shall at least include the main production equipment type, number of sets or production lines, production plan, corresponding testing equipment (facilities), etc. If the applicant entrusts an OEM to produce, the entrustment contract between the applicant and the OEM, as well as the entrusted party's technical capabilities, production capacity, and quality assurance system and other materials shall be provided. If the applicant voluntarily submits the compulsory certification certificate, recommended certification certificate or voluntary certification certificate stipulated by the state, and can prove that he has the corresponding technical ability, production capacity and quality system after review, the application materials required by this article can be simplified.
(6) Equipment instruction manuals, technical manuals, circuit diagrams, circuit block diagrams or schematic diagrams related to wireless transceiver functions, and a list of key radio frequency components. The display method of the type approval code shall be listed in the instruction manual;
(7) If the model approval code is displayed in electronic form, instructions for displaying and checking the model approval code and the style of the electronic sign shall be provided, and shall comply with the "Notice of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on the Electronic Display of the Model Approval Code of Radio Transmission Equipment" (Ministry of Industry and Information Technology) No [2015] No. 211);
(8) A set of color photos of the equipment, including photos of the exterior, internal circuit boards, and signage. The information on the signage should include the manufacturer, product model, and style of model approval code identification, etc. The photos should be marked with a scale;

8. Certification process

9. Submit the sales voucher, and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will pay the laboratory. If the test fails and the approval fails, the payment laboratory will resubmit the application (the test fee will be paid by the applicant).

9. Certification cycle and validity period

Certificate validity period: five years.

10. Factory inspection

There will be market supervision and spot checks, no factory inspections.

11. Matters needing attention

1. The model of the tested equipment should have test procedures, methods, standards, conditions, test connection block diagrams, special test accessories and the latest test report (copies or photocopies are acceptable);
2. If the transmitting port of the device under test belongs to a non-standard interface, it is necessary to provide the test connection cable of the device under test and the text or chart basis of the cable attenuation value stamped with the company seal;
3. If necessary, the applicant unit must send engineering and technical personnel to cooperate with the test;
4. If one of the equipment submitted by the sponsor for inspection is unqualified after inspection, a second sampling or re-inspection of the sample machine is allowed. If more than two (including two) of the sample machines drawn are unqualified after inspection, The second sampling will not be carried out, and it will be judged as a substandard product; if after the second inspection, there are still more than one unqualified products, it will be judged as a substandard product;
