TELEC certification is mandatory. TELEC (Telecom Engineering Center) is the main registered certification body for radio equipment compliance certification in Japan. TELEC is also called MIC certification in Japan. TELEC is designated by MIC (Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications-Japan Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications) One of the issuing agencies, it is collectively referred to as TELEC certification.

TELEC certification includes test certification (Test Certification) and type certification (Type Certification).
1. Test certification: Verification is carried out for each equipment unit, and this certification is only valid for each verified equipment unit;
2. Type certification: verification of samples of a batch of equipment of the same design and manufacture, the certification is valid for this batch of equipment, but if the design or manufacture of the equipment has changed, the equipment will need to be re-certified.

SRD category product certification period: 2~3 weeks, other categories, such as WiFi dual-band, tri-band, mobile phone certification period depends on the specific specifications of the product.

Sample requirement: 1 conduction method, 1 normal sample
